Dance of the Chakras is more than a dance event. It is a sacred journey through the body’s energy centers—a powerful fusion of ancient wisdom, conscious movement, mantra, and music. Guided by the seven chakras, each segment of the experience invites participants to move, release, and awaken their inner life force in a safe, non-dogmatic space.

This is not just ecstatic dance. It’s deeper.
While ecstatic dance encourages free-form movement and self-expression, our format goes further by consciously aligning movement with the chakra system—an energetic map of human evolution, from survival to transcendence. Each chakra is activated through a combination of Beej mantras, curated music frequencies, breath, and guided intention. The result is a structured-yet-liberating experience that leads naturally into a final ecstatic dance journey—a dance of life itself, from womb to rebirth.

🎵 It’s rooted in real experience – Created by Stephen Lobo, a former DJ with nearly 30 years of international experience, from the vibrant clubs of India to the electronic scene in Germany.

For many years, I lived in fast-paced environments—traveling, performing, creating music in vibrant spaces. But something deeper was calling me. Meditation brought me back to stillness and purpose. Now, through this work, I’m merging my two worlds: the pulse of music and the silence of the soul.

Dance of the Chakras has already touched lives across yoga studios and sacred spaces in Frankfurt and beyond. It continues to grow organically through love, trust, and the shared human longing to feel more alive, more whole, and more free.

Join us for a powerful, substance-free dance experience! In this 3-hour immersive journey, we’ll awaken the seven chakras through guided movement, sound, and Beej Mantras.
Then flow into a freeform ecstatic dance through the human life cycle — from womb to rebirth. Come as you are — no experience needed, just an open heart.

FAQ's

Do I need any dance experience?

No. This is not a performance or a class. It’s a freeform movement experience. All levels — including complete beginners — are welcome.

Can I come alone?

Yes! Most people come solo. This is a warm, welcoming space where connection happens naturally — no partner needed.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in. Colorful clothing or chakra colors are encouraged but not required. Barefoot or soft dance shoes are ideal.

What should I bring?

Bring an open heart, a water bottle, maybe a small towel and Mats or props

Is there music or a guide?

Yes. The journey begins with guided chakra activations using movement and sound, followed by a curated playlist for free dance. No steps, rules, or choreography — just flow.

Is it really substance-free?

Absolutely. This is a 100% sober space — no alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants. Presence is the true high.

Will there be photos or videos taken?

No. This is a camera-free zone to protect your privacy and create a safe, uninhibited space for expression.

What kind of space is it?

We dance in a private, indoor venue in Kettelerallee 45. Exact address is shared upon registration to keep the space intimate and secure.

How many people will be there?

Spots are limited to maintain an intimate and respectful group energy. Early registration is recommended.
